1. “Fa ninyinaa” is for only Ghanaian first year students in tertiary institutions.

2.”Kyemupe” is for all Ghanaian continuing students in all tertiary institutions.

3. “Fa ninyinaa” doesn’t replace “kyemupe”. The two policies will run side by side.

4. The special jurisdiction for “Fa ninyinaa” is that, parents on first year students usually incur more cost on acquiring accomodation, paying admission fees, and procuring other materials for their wards, than continuing students.

5. The common overarching jurisdiction for the two policies is the negative impact of Covid-19 on incomes and livelihoods.
